I am someone who struggled with maths at school and consequently made it my life’s mission to be reasonable at it. I read Chemistry at university, and specialised in physical chemistry – I obtained a Master’s degree in laser spectroscopy. My passion is all things physics, maths, electronics, and computer-related, and I work in the environmental remediation space.
All material on this site was published on my social media at the time of its production, and it remains for public view for anyone interested to do that – you’ll need to wade through all the other content as well I’m afraid. You might face issues reading my writing. Why is it there? I’ve kept it up for posterity and transparency regarding the level of my contribution before the availability of logical reasoning Ai with physics engines: it is substantive enough.
Over the years, I submitted written drafts to various institutions and university departments. With a few notable exceptions it was not examined. As an Oxford graduate, I tried Oxbridge first: One department called my core thesis “a clever trick”. I’ll take that; if that’s what this amounts to, then so be it – it might still be useful.
I should probably be grateful that I was denied the opportunity to publish properly, including on arxiv which declined to present my (non-AI supported) work. If I had done that, I am sure I would not have had the opportunity to think so laterally about various subjects in such an interdisciplinary way. Silver linings.
Always happy to get constructive comments, suggestions and feedback.
